Installation

Requirements

• Windows 10, macOS, or Linux.

• System WebView (Edge, Safari, or WebkitGTK).

Note

On Windows, you will be prompted to install WebView2, if it’s not available.

Installation

Download the latest release for your platform from the GitHub Releases page.

Safety

Should you get any warnings about the app being unsafe, don’t worry.

Memospot was not signed with a digital signing certificate, as it costs a considerable amount of money yearly, and this app does not generate any revenue.

Feel free to scan the executable with known tools such as VirusTotal or Jotti’s Malware scanner. Note that some tools may flag Tauri apps regardless, but you should get a very low score, if any.

Unblocking the App

You will need to allow the app to run right after installing it.

Removing the quarantine attribute:

xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Memospot.app
